Christos Hatjoullis aka Outerground is Creative Director of Shroomstudio.com in East London. Film maker, animator, electronic music producer & graphic designer, Outerground is an interdisciplinary designer working in cross-media production with a passion for nature, scientific ideas and electronic techniques. Christos works as a creative business sector start up mentor looking after young companies, assisting them as they grow and expand. He has produced 100's of commercial projects across film, tv advertising and live music with numerous large scale event graphics for international artists such as U2, Pink, Rolling Stones, Qtip and live video gallery installations /performance for the V&A & Kinetica. This series of work brings together a unique Outerground surface pattern design collection with a focus on bright, futuristic, electronic shapes, inspired by nature and the microscopic world, incorporating elements of collage, pop art & op-art.
