These portraits are a celebration of diversity.

Pleasures are forever evolving, changing and challenging our depths and experiences; there is no right or wrong answer to what gives one life. They are what moves us to dream and dance, create with our touch, voices, smell and vision, the senses that allow us to feel in every way imaginable and beyond the imagination. Pleasure starts from the root, in the feminine and masculine and in all the shapes and colours in between. The aliveness inside us is the creative foundation for all that is; the spark and source of our power centers, that passionate inspiration. These pleasure portraits are all so uniquely organic, matching the depths that pour out from the people who share them.

My desire and inspiration for this project is for a universal collective to be seen and the flavours of diversity to be unconditionally celebrated, accepted and nurtured. A pleasure portrait is not about gender, race, age or sexual orientation. My hope is that they surpass labels, projections, judgments and focus on the purest root of all humanity which, the way I see it, is to experience life’s richest pleasures.

The heart connections that I request from people are about inquiring into the divine feminine. The divine feminine is manifested inwards, it asks our hearts first what we need. It is often emotional, often something that develops inward before masculine energy is asked to express itself outward.

The reference images I work from are in a state of non-arousal. My intent is to focus less on the sexual element of the genitals, and capture something, including but also more than the erotic. The erotic is the seed of creation and the inspiration for the project, not limiting to “sex,” but also something beyond us; tapping into a passion and life motivation; a life force that is often passion driven; erotically charged.
