I have been drawing, painting and designing since age 5. I love carefully balanced compositions and clean lines. But I equally enjoy expressive art with layered meanings. Always learning. Explore. Experiment. Enjoy.
I remain committed to teaching art, hoping to enrich and empower my students. As a mature artist, I now paint and design to suit myself, exploring new methods and subjects with enthusiasm.
Career Highlights: The joy of students creating will always be the highlight of my career. Every time a student has an “ah- ha” moment, I feel rewarded. When a student uses what they learned in art somewhere else, I am thrilled.
My favorite professional highlights are: 1) My calligraphic “Graceful Envelope” work accepted to the Smithsonian Postal Museum collection; 2) “Emerge”- my interactive art exhibit at Albright College, Reading, PA. In this show, I achieved the goal of creating an exhibit in which the gallery visitors became active participants.
