Psychae is an Italian artist and conservation scientist. She was born in Rome in 1984 and she has been in love with art since she was a child. During her university education, her passion for science and art led her to study the materials and the techniques used by artists since antiquity. Recently she earned a Ph.D. in natural sciences applied to diagnosis and to conservation of works of art. As a designer, she started as an hobby, taking macro photos of flowers and fusing them with different textures in order to make colorful artworks, then she fell in love with watercolor painting. She is inspired by nature, and especially flowers, and loves to use watercolor painting and calligraphy to create romantic and beautiful designs.
