As an illustrator and surface pattern designer I strive to always impart the same core values into my craft. A design must draw a smile as well as catch the eye with the use of characterful contrasts; with novel combinations of classic natural images, bold colour and abstract patterning; with the familiar matched in ways that surprise. Success for me means each design is as striking and pleasurable on the hundredth viewing as it was the first.
