The most remote memories of my artistic development are of pre school in Porto Alegre, southern Brazil. Drawings with crayons and small sculptures with clay and modeling dough were my favorite activity. I could spend hours doing that. And although as the years went by it became evident an attraction for the arts, the beginning of my professional career was in the technical area in electronics and telecommunications, where I saw spending more than 16 years. Parallel to that, the hobby of photography avoided a greater artistic atrophy. The reawakening came in 2014, after a year living in Portugal. I dedicate this new direction to Alice, my wife, who helped to redefine my career with something truer and where I could manifest and express my vision of the world. Born there, Raul Santos, photographer. Since 2017, in Italy I dedicate most of my time to Lifestyle photography for travelers from all over the world. And between one trip and another I take the opportunity to produce the cityscape images that I appreciate so much.
