Russ Barneveld is a parent, grand parent, educator, photographer, college professor, ex-square dance caller, ex-hockey player, and ex-sailor. who lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I got into photography many years ago and then took some time off to work, raise a family, and try other activities. Now that I am semi-retired I decided it was time again to share what I see with others. This jump from film photography to digital images has been both fun and challenging. However, I do miss those endless hours working in the darkroom (NOT).
