An activist in elevating intersectional womxn and LGBTQIA+ rights, Light began in the early '00s synthesising photography (film cross-processed and B&W) shot in Detroit and London, UK and digital visual effects techniques acquired working on major studio film and commercial sets in Chicago and LA. Classically trained as a musician since childhood, its clear Light's affinity for minor chords cross-pollinates disciplinary boundaries, influencing: bold, punctuated, irregular, left-of-field fusions of illustrations, vignettes, textile design, word play and more.
