Statement: Ordinary days have their own glory, and regular life has a beauty of its own to behold. The light streaming in between the leaves of a tree creates a contrast and casts shapes that move and change. Contented time with loved ones and the steady simple faithfulness of daily life is inspiration to me. I am intrigued by the compositions I see everyday, and my desire is to translate that into my work. The infinite choices in a single painting fascinate me, and the process of working through finding a painting and mixing the colors I see outside bring me back to the easel.
