Here’s a bit about my art career. The journey began shortly after graduating from Montana State University-Bozeman, MT with a BFA in Graphic Design. My early jobs included: graphic design, preprint production, and publication design. While raising my two sweet children I switched my focus to fine art oil portraiture.

After 15 years of painting and drawing portraits traditionally, I decided it was time to learn digital painting and illustration. Digital tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and my favorite ipad app Procreate, allow me to get more ideas out of my head and onto the "drawing board". While I still work traditionally (in oils), my digital skills and portfolio continue to grow daily. I have had the pleasure of learning through well-known illustrators such as Denis Zilber, Will Terry, Aaron Blaise, Bobby Chiu, and Jason Seiler. I am having more fun with my art than ever before! It is so exciting to blend my traditional skills and education with what technology has to offer!
