RickDoranArt

This page has been set up on behalf of my friend Rick Doran, who died in 2006 at the young age of 52. He spent the last years of his life blowing his mind creating digital art, unaware he had a brain tumor until it was diagnosed in 2004. The synchronicity of many of the artworks with his physical condition is extraordinary and it gives metaphysical meaning to their splendor.

Rick continued creating pictures until the last weeks of his life whenever he had the energy and could see to manipulate image making software.

He left his art works with me to exhibit and sell, requesting that the profits go to charity.

100% of profits from the sale of Rick's artwork will be donated to "The Fred Hollows foundation for the support of indigenous Australians":http://www.hollows.org/our-work/where-we-work-country/australia

I hope you enjoy the outcome of his drive to create and perhaps you will help keep his spirit of altruism alive.
