I paint to find my truth, to connect to what I see, to become.

Born in Santo Domingo, I am a Caribbean woman who has for about 10 years lived outside my island, between Italy, New York and Madrid, now based in Brisbane - Australia.

My work is based on the honesty of what I see daily in my mirror. I put to the test the vision of my emotions and let my hands capture it. Moved by my blackness and verses of Leopold Sédar Sénghor. Hand paintings in acrylic , graphite and dry pastels.
