My name is Carmen Camille Metty-Kast and I have been making art since 1986. I was born and grew up near Minneapolis Minnesota where I reside now. I spent most of my life teaching either at Univeristy or with special needs. I studied at UW Stout for my undergraduate degree and I started my MFA at University of Iowa and received my MFA at University of Minnesota. My paintings come from lived experience working and living in nature, taking photos, traveling. Some of the images I have in my shop come from living in Alaska. I also have photographs of La Jolla, California, Paris France, Santa Fe New Mexico, Bend, Oregon, Seattle Washington, and Minneapolis Minnesota. I have included some of my photographs, some of my oil paintings, and will begin adding some of my digital prints as well.
