Since the mid-nineties, South Carolina based artist, Samara Phillips, knew she had to create some form of art every day to feel alive. Early in her career she focused on metal smithing/jewelry making but has currently become obsessed with learning different 2D techniques. Her interests include mixed media art, acrylics, paper collage and print making techniques. Samara feels most inspired just playing around in her home studio-just taking the time to allow her inner child to emerge.
