I've been an artist ever since I can remember. I used to draw pictures on the inside blank pages of my grandmother's books (much to her chagrin). I had this passion for art all my life and used to spend much of my childhood wandering around in museums, admiring the works of the old and new masters. I worked as a graphic designer for various employers for many years and when I retired I decided to devote most of my time to painting and drawing. I work in a variety of mediums which include oil painting, drawing, and new media. My specialties are figurative and abstract works, but can also include other disciplines. Pushing myself toward excellence keeps my work fresh and exciting and above all, challenging. In addition I have received numerous awards, including First and Second Place and Best of Show. I can't imagine my life without art. It keeps me vital, challenged, and constantly excited.
