After working for many years full time as an Operating Room Nurse Sarah Liz Walker decided to pick up a paint brush and experiment with painting in Gouache and some acrylic. Since she has been agency nursing she has been able to experiment with ideas and a wide range of colours for her paintings.Sarah thought a good way to start would be with plants and animals in different settings. She was inspired also by her son's love of giant toy insects when he was younger. Gouache is the medium she has been mainly painting with, some acrylic and fine ink pen. She likes to make the bright colours fade out and into other complimentary colours.
