I’m Sarah Knight. I’ve been drawing since I was a child.

I draw, I paint, I take photos. I put those all together and I illustrate. I have a BFA (scientific illustration) from the School of Art & Design of the University of Michigan. I do this stuff because I like doing it and because I can, obviously.

I’ve dabbled in everything under the sun at some point. From graphite pencils to colored pencils, markers, acrylic paint, watercolors, tempura, pastels, pen and ink, etching, ceramics, mixed media, and some things that weren’t really intended as art mediums. Also, jewelry making, mixed media, various forms of sculpture (clay, casting, plaster, found objects, assemblage, etc), bobbin lace, papermaking, and sewing and embroidery are areas in which I have experience.
