Growing up in the rolling hills of Missouri, I've traveled to most states in the U.S. and painted along the way. I love being in nature and try to visit all the state parks along my travel routes.

I'm a painter, mostly in watercolors, and I love to draw.

I'm professionally trained and have my Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a major in painting and a minor in printmaking, from the Kansas City Art Institute. I also studied at Memphis College of Art and minored in graphic communication at St. Louis Community College.

I was commissioned by the Center for Disease Control to create artworks for their media campaign. I have created murals for Kansas City's Bartle Hall Convention Center and several public schools in the Greater Metro area.

I am a recipient of the ArtsKC Fund Inspiration Grant Award and a co-recipient of a Rocket Grant project awarded by Charlotte Street Foundation and the University of Kansas Spencer Museum of Art via funding through Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

With a strong working background in graphic design and the print industry, I have created unique marketing and educational products for high profile clients including the U.S. Department of Education via an Art Model Grant. ​
