The appreciation I have for artistic expression in my life is beyond words. Being able to convey something relatable, confronting, comforting, completely made up, or a message better than words ever could, makes me appreciate art so much. It gives me the freedom to be playful. With art, I can play with ideas, medias, color, concepts, challenges, language, people, my inner world, the outer world, and so much more than I would give myself permission to without it.
