Soraya Sus is a multimedia artist, passionate about ceramic and illustration, living in Doha, Qatar, with her useful husband Youssef, her two talented daughters Elena and Aaya, and her two adorable cats Risa and Gigi.

After graduating in 1993 with a BA in Graphic Design (concentrating in Illustration and Children Book Illustration) from the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano de Bogotá, she took a series of ceramic workshops at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and then is when her love for ceramics began.

She works in a variety of media including clay, wood, polymer clay, polystyrene, watercolor, acrylic, color pencils, gouache, markers, leather and ink. She makes custom pet-portraits, jewelry, puzzles, mobiles and is currently in a love affair with functional pottery.
