Teresa Selbee Baker

I am a painter and photographer living on Savary Island where I take the time and space to dive in to the ideas that occupy my brain building and developing techniques.

I take inspiration from Dali and Kahlo, meshing these spaces around me that are real against the many versions of myself that seem unreal.

I currently reside on Savary Island in the qathet Region on the traditional territory of the Tla’amin Nation, of the Sunshine Coast BC. I arrived here from Clearwater, BC, where I was born and raised, Kamloops, BC, where I attended Thompson Rivers University and studied my Fine Arts Degree, and Halfmoon Bay, BC where we raised our two boys
