Midwest-based photographer, Terran Marks, has been hiking into some of the most beautiful places in the U.S. to capture his shots since 2008.

Originally a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service, Terran was regularly exposed to remote wilderness locations and public lands. Given the opportunity to protect these priceless places, he saw a chance to share them with others.

With a focus on forests, mountains, and water, Terran seeks to share a sense of calm and relaxation with the landscapes he captures.
