Creating beauty I dream in my head or see in life around the globe. And...creating things I wish I would see when I'm searching for unique...for beautiful...for dreamy...for just right. With purpose. With dignity. I admit it. I'm the one that holds up groups of people on a hike, in a new city, or on the street. "Just one more picture," or "Ooh, if we just do THAT, it would be the perfect shot," or "I'll catch up. I see the perfect picture!" Yes, that's me. Always steeped in curiosity, looking for beauty we're all too busy to notice, and not being afraid to lay in the dirt or contort like a Cirque du Soleil performer to get the perfect shot. The great outdoors has so much beauty and wonder to offer, and only a camera can capture it...freeze it in time so we can luxuriate in it when it is forced to stand still. Isn't that the beauty of it? No wonder a picture is worth a thousand words. It captures things we never would have seen without the lens and time to fully reflect upon the memory we caught on film.
