Our team—as previously described—is a collaborative effort of two generations, but we realized that we go way back to our great-grandmother who, for most part of her 102 living years, had sewn us blankets and pillowcases from pieces of old cloth. In retrospect, these “tinarambi” symbolized past and future generations coming together, of the Filipino values of family and brotherhood, of industry and hard work. T’rambi is in honor of those who came before us. The variety of our designs are meant to cross generations and bridge gaps, among ourselves and those whom we are yet to cross paths with. We are the fabrics that are sewn together by both our uniqueness and our sameness.
