I am a watercolorist and ink painter from Seattle. I am partly Norse and my parents named me for Tyr, who lost his right wrist to the great wolf Fenrir, the same wrist I now have some difficulty with due to an inherited disorder. I find it fitting. 'Wolf joint' is a kenning for that same delicate joint, and 'Tyr' is a kenning as well for someone who reacts to an issue decisively - as a judge - but not always so wisely...
