Vanessa Tamarit is a photographer from New Jersey. She has a strong passion for street photography because she loves telling the stories of individuals. In the last two years, nine of her works have been awarded by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards; six of those being Gold Key winners which proceeded to be recognized with a national silver medal. Vanessa truly makes a conscious effort in trying to help others with her talents. She takes photos for multiple non-profit organizations that benefit important causes such as Lupus y Latinos and Easterseals which advocates for people with disabilities. In addition, she has experience in photographing various events ranging from Baptisms, Sweet Sixteens, Graduation Parties, and even being hired for professional headshots. Vanessa is currently seeking her BFA in Photography at Parsons School of Design in New York City.
