Julia is a unique visionary fiber artist, with vibrant works that burst out the traditional into the contemporary, sometimes with a touch of whimsy and of humor. Julia's recent solo art exhibit 'in-Spiral-ed' 2021, will soon to be exhibited worldwide. With a lifelong career as a professional musician, music, dance and rhythm continue to be an influence in her work. Julia's work reveals an abstract and surreal esthetic sense; starting with basic geometric and organic forms, then breaking out and building into new structures. Some of Julia's artwork has exhibited in National juried shows, including: Far and Wide in Woodstock, NewYork, with her "Aquarian Dawn". Julia received a 2020 Award for her work Birthing of Ideas which was exhibited at the Art Complex Museum of Duxbury, Massachusetts.

Some of her artistic influences have been Nancy Crow, Michael James, Judy Mathieson, Buckminster Fuller, and Hilma af Klint, and Antoni Gaudi, to name a few.
