After spending 10 years studying to become an Architect, it was clear to me that I needed a more intuitive way of letting my creativeness flow. I had visions of building great buildings but the lengthy process and bureaucracy often meant that the final results had sometimes lost that initial spark. I needed an outlet, something I could do with my two hands, something that would truly reflect me and how my mind ebbs and flows into my work. I decided to start drawing again, to move away from black lines on paper and bring back colour and chaos into my world again. When I design, I initially have a clear vision of what I want to achieve, as the design process flows, this vision develops and I don't call a piece complete until I get the sense that I have arrived. Sometimes, I look back and I am somewhere different to where I had imagined I would be, but I have come to accept that - that is just my process. I don't fight it anymore, I upload it and celebrate it and hope that it reaches someone else out there.
