I am a daydreamer. Painting is an escape from ‘the everyday’. My paintings portray the internal space of my wandering mind and memories from long car rides. The images I portray have a dreamlike quality. My art practice is in direct contrast with my rigid day job as a bookkeeper. Painting represents freedom, I can make and do what I want and therefore bring a sense of hope and beauty to my audience.
