Hello! I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in Milton, Ontario, Canada.
On any given day I will be making homemade dog toys, running out in storms to take photographs or sculpting my own paint palettes.
A few years ago I began facing problems with my executive functioning and found watercolour paint to an immediate source of comfort. Painting was not only therapeutic for my hands but for my brain as well. Every time felt like having my scalp massaged. Painting "intuitively" and deciding the angles, lengths, weights, directions and colours only one after the other provided me the freedom to play, make mistakes, and learn in unexpected ways. After digitizing my daily practices recently, I discovered a whole new opportunity to once again play, experiment, and make mistakes. Through experimenting with watercolours I discovered my brain really gravitates towards lines, layers, light, letterforms, language. . . and colour.
