Rachel Ann is a national award winning meteorologist/photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Aissen has been featured in numerous publications.

She combines her knowledge of physics, weather, art, light and composition to bring together stunning landscapes from her travels.

ARTIST STATEMENT: The unique combination of art and science has always been of particular interest to me. At some point in our recent history the artist and the scientist have been pitted against each other. But if we look back not so long ago, we can see that the artist and the scientist share similar hearts of exploration and creativity.

I love that photography bridges that gap between art (composition) and science (light/exposure).
