B. Dunbar Parker is the artist of Wild Oakview Studio in Asheville, NC, best known for her ethereal wildlife portraits brought forward to the eye of the viewer through backgrounds of delicate layers.

Parker has painted since childhood in many mediums, but prefers acrylics when it comes to wildlife paintings to obtain a world thick with atmosphere, providing a natural habitat of sorts. With a B.A. in English Literature and experience as a Wildlife Rehabilitator of small mammals, she is a daydreamer by nature and painter by curious necessity.
